Gail Goodrich

Goodrich One of the original Suns, Gail Goodrich was selected by Phoenix in the 1968 Expansion Draft. "Goody" would play two years in the Valley, leading the club in scoring in its inaugural season (23.8 ppg) and in assists during both of his years in purple and orange (6.9). Gail was also one of the Suns' first-ever All-Stars and helped guide the club to its first playoff appearance in 1970. In May, 1970, Goodrich was traded to the Lakers, where he spent his most successful years as a player, and in 1996, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
